Detailed Itinerary :

Day 01 : Arrival Cochin
Arrive Cochin airport by any convenient flight. Meet upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon free for relax. This evening learn about Kerala's fascinating art form, Kathakali. The Kathakali performers begin to train for their art at a young age, and their study continues for a lifetime. Today you will enjoy a dance performance. Return to you hotel for an overnight’s stay. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02 : Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing of Cochin city visit the Jewish Synagogue (of 1568) which is the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth. It is an interesting little place with hand painted willow pattern floor tiles brought from Canton in China in the mid 18th century. The synagogue is located in an area called Jew Town which also is one of the centers of the spice trade in the region. Also visit the ancient Mattancherry (Dutch) Palace built by the Portuguese in 1557. This palace was presented to the ruler of Cochin as a gesture of goodwill. The Palace’s alternative name “Dutch Palace” resulted from substantial renovations by the Dutch after 1663.
Day 03 : Cochin – Munnar (by Road 185 kms approx)
After breakfast, proceed for your morning drive to Munnar, where sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make it a unique experience. On the way to Munnar, we will take a short visit at Bhoothathankettu Dam. The reservoir and children’s parks are big attractions here. Check in to your resort and get ready for the special trip to Pothamedu for an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The breath taking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks. Return to your resort in the evening. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 04 : Munnar
Munnar gets its name from the Malayalam and Tamil phrases for ‘three rivers’ – as the town is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams, at a height of 5,250 ft above sea level. This morning after breakfast, visit Mattupetty famous for its highly specialized dairy farm, the Indo-Swiss live stock project. Proceed to Mattupetty lake and dam, which is a very beautiful picnic spot. You could enjoy boating in the lake and View Mountains and landscapes from afar. Onwards proceed to Echo point famous for the natural echo phenomenon and then to Top Station offering marvelous views of Munnar valley below. Munnar is cradled in a valley hemmed in by hills. Many of its attractions are to be found on its outskirts, within a radius of 10 to 40 km from the town. Half the world population of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr lives in the Eravikulam National Park at Munnar. Friendly as they are, you can pat them or pose for pictures with them. So meet them and have plenty to brag about back home. Return to the resort for rest. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 05 : Munnar – Periyar (by Road 112 kms approx)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Periyar nestled in spice and rubber plantations. Known to be Kerala’s pride and testimony to nature’s splendor, Periyar has a lot to offer in terms of wildlife. Periyar is famous for its rare habitat of birds and animals and is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers. Check in to your resort and get ready for your trip to cardamom hills where you could have a closer look at the spice plantations. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the places where the chances are pretty high that you will spot an elephant in the wild at close quarters and from the safe onfines of a boat. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 06 : Periyar - Alleppey / Houseboat (by Road 155 kms approx)
Morning after breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey. On arrival in Alleppey, check in to the houseboat. Overnight stay in A/C Deluxe Houseboat. Note: All meals will be provided in houseboat.
Day 07 : Alleppey – Kovalam (by Road 158 kms approx)
After breakfast at the hotel, disembark from the houseboat at Alleppey and drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace, Art Gallery. Evening you will be free at Kovalam Beach.Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 08 : Kovalam.
The days will be free for personal activities. Spend your day at leisure on the picturesque white sandy beaches of Kovalam. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Kovalam – Trivendrum – Departure (by Road 15 kms approx)
Morning free in Kovalam. Afternoon transfer to Trivendrum airport to take your flight for onwards journey.
